Pen and ink with wash on paper mounted to board. Image measures 11 1/2x15 1/2 inches, on 15x18-inch board, framed to 20x25 inches. Signed in pen on mount, lower left.

A large and cheerful illustration by Wiese from one of his beloved "Freddy the Pig" books. It depicts the opening day at the bank, showing Freddy, John Quincy Adam, and Jinx seated at desks awaiting to attend an eager group of 15 depositors. The sign on the wall reads: " First Animal Bank of Centerboro. President: John Quincy Adam, Treasurer: Jinx; Secretary: Freddy/CAPITAL: NONE YET/ RESOURCES: UNLIMITED."
